Plastic packaging refers to packaging made of plastic. Plastic is a type of material primarily made from synthetic or natural polymer resins. After adding various additives, it has ductility under certain temperatures and pressures, and can fix its shape after cooling. The process of distributing additive molecules uniformly around the natural or synthetic polymer resin molecules in a molten state is called plasticization. If this process has been achieved, it is said to be plasticized; if not, it is considered unplasticized. Plastic packaging is one of the four major materials in the packaging industry: paper and cardboard account for 30%, plastic for 25%, metal for 25%, and glass for 15%.
